IT'S WEEK ONE OF THE FIRECRACKER SEWALONG!

TGIF and Happy 1st day of the Firecracker Sewalong!

This week we're cutting out our fabric! (And if you need a kit, check out the cute Firecracker bundles on Sewtopia's site!)

Before you start cutting, look at your pull...are you using any directional prints for your Firecracker Blocks*? (*Not including the fabric for the fuse and sparkler portion of the block.) If you said yes, you will want to make the flying geese units with those directional print(s) using a one-at-a-time method....Which brings me to the first freebie in today's newsletter - A FPP pattern and template for traditionally piecing the flying geese units one-at-a-time! If your prints are non-directional or you don't mind your prints going in different directions in the flying geese units, then follow the pattern as instructed :)
