The Fresh as a Daisy quilt pattern is now available! You can find the printed copy HERE and the PDF copy HERE!
The Fresh as a Daisy pattern is traditionally pieced (no paper piecing! ) and includes instructions for two different versions - modern scrappy AND comes in two sizes - baby (48" square) and throw (59 1/2" x 63 1/2"). I also give instruction for making a single block! Perfect for mini quilts, pillows, and more! And bust out those fat quarters and jelly rolls if you're making the scrappy version of this quilt! The pattern is pre-cut friendly too!
The Fresh as a Daisy pattern was inspired by my love, er, obsession with florals Even before I released my official first pattern, Rainy Day, I immediately knew what type of pattern I wanted to design next - FLORAL! That pattern, Marigold, is pictured below!
I love sewing with floral fabrics, wearing clothes with flowers on them, decorating my home in florals...I think you get it Anyways, I've toyed around with the idea of making a flower quilt using the asterisk (ie - *) design for awhile now, but was unsure how to make it happen without having part of the block be paper pieced. And then one day I finally sat down and figured it out and that's how the daisy idea was born! I didn't even have to use templates to make it happen either I love when that happens
Hope you all love this pattern! I'll be sharing my amazing tester's versions soon and where you can find kits for this pattern soon too! Stay tuned!
