For the QAL, I decided to make the throw size (59 3/4" x 79 1/2") from the pattern. The pattern also includes instructions for making a baby (40" square) and bed size (79 1/2" x 99 1/2").
The quilt was longarmed by Julie Hirt in her Sunrise Skateland 2 panto and I went with a light peach thread for the quilting. I really love how well the mod vibes of both the pattern and panto pair together.
The Growing QAL, that ran for the whole month of May this year, was so much fun! Each week on Friday I would go live on Facebook and share tips for completing that week's goal. I uploaded the Lives to YouTube so they would be available to anyone - even non QAL participants. Those videos are linked below! Week 2 also included notes that I gave to participants, so I've linked to that below as well!
