Introducing my latest quilt pattern, Forest Fungi!
Forest Fungi is a traditionally pieced quilt pattern that can be made into two sizes - Baby (51" square) and Throw (56 3/4" x 69 1/2") . It also includes a bonus Mushroom pillow pattern that finishes 18" square.
Some other features in the pattern are optional FPP patterns for the mushroom block, tags for organizing your cuts of fabric, and a link to printable coloring pages! The 24-page pattern also includes a lot of detailed instructions and diagrams!

Forest Fungi was inspired by my love of mushroom themed art and decor. But, fun fact, that is the extent of my love because I, uh, think mushrooms taste disgusting 🙅🏻♀️😂
For the Mushroom block, I knew I wanted the mushrooms to appear like they've grown out of a tree stump by having the stems bend towards each other. And I HAD to add spots to one of the mushroom caps. Mushrooms with spots are significantly cuter imo. But my favorite part of the block is the tiny mushroom. I think that pieced on it's own in an embroidery hoop or as coaster would be SO cute. The mushroom block finishes 12" square.
I also knew I wanted to incorporate a leaf block into the design to give the quilt even more of a forest-y vibe and just to make the design a little more dynamic looking. I've done several leaf block patterns already so I wanted something that was different (obviously) and I thought the oak leaf fit the bill perfectly. Side note - How cute would a bench/lumbar pillow with the Oak Leaf block on it look?? Especially if it was next to a Mushroom pillow?? I die. The Oak Leaf block finishes 12" x 24 3/4".
