NEW! Chance of Rain Quilt Pattern

Today I released my newest quilt pattern, Chance of Rain, and it also marks 10 years of Pen + Paper Patterns! Ironically, the first pattern I ever released, Rainy Day, was rain-themed too. I didn’t plan to release another rain-themed pattern exactly a decade later, but it feels like a pretty special (and fitting) coincidence!

Way back when I worked at a local quilt shop, one of my favorite patterns was Raincheck by Thimble Blossoms. Ever since, I’ve wanted to try making an equally cute umbrella quilt. Did I succeed? Probably not. Have you seen how cute Raincheck is?? 😆 But I’m still so happy with how this design turned out—plus, it includes two of my favorite things: flowers and gingham 😍

Chance of Rain includes instructions for three sizes—Small Throw (48" square), Large Throw (67" square), and Twin (67" x 86"). The pattern also comes with a bonus Rain Cloud block, which I used in a small throw-size version of Chance of Rain that I can’t wait to share with you! All three blocks in the pattern finish at 9 1/2" square.
