Introducing the Stay Sharp quilt pattern!
Stay Sharp was inspired by my favorite sewing notion (if we're not including glue tips 😉), AKA scissors! Specifically, the teeny tiny ones😍✂️

Stay Sharp includes instructions for making four different scissor blocks. Each block measures 9 1/2" x 14 1/2" finished. A great size for pillows, mini quilts, tote bags, and more! Like usual, there are detailed block diagrams, illustrations, and instructions included in the pattern - Along with tags for labeling your cuts of fabric!

I'll be sharing photos of the second Stay Sharp quilt I made soon, but in the meantime, here are pics of my mom's, @gailzerbe, Stay Sharp quilt!
My mom was inspired by one of my mock ups (pictured below) when pulling fabric for her quilt. She opted for a low volume print for the background fabric and Kona solids for her scissor blocks.
I love how the patchwork sections of the block are subtle, but still present. The scissor blocks pop even more that way!
And here is the mock up that inspired my mom's quilt!
The Kona solids I used in this mock up are:
Colors 1 - 5 = Terragon, Mango, Dusty Blue, Dill, and Dusty Peach
Color 6 = White
Color 7 = Shitake
Color 8 = Shale
Background = Ivory
I loved the colors in my second Night Owl quilt so much that I had to mock up Stay Sharp in them too! I think it's my favorite mock up of the bunch!
The Kona solids I used in this mock up are:
Colors 1 - 5 = Cedar, Foxglove, Iron, Yarrow, and Spice
Color 6 = Peach
Color 7 = Natural
Color 8 = Thistle
Background = Brick
The Kona solids I used in this mock up are:
Colors 1 - 5 = Foxglove, Cedar, Curry, Peach, and Sienna
Color 6 = Lingerie
Color 7 = Ash
Color 8 = Shale
Background = Kelly
The Kona solids I used in this mock up are:
Colors 1 - 5 = Pickle, Cedar, OD Green, Cinnamon, and Sassy Pink
Color 6 = Haze
Color 7 = Ivory
Color 8 = Shale
Background = Doeskin
