If you thought the Nesting Dolls quilt looked cute in solids, wait till you see it in prints! Specifically Ruby Star Society prints 😍 It wasn't planned, but both of my testers, @gailzerbe and @thedandypatch, went with RSS prints for their quilts and I love how both of them turned out!

My mom, @gailzerbe, made the throw size quilt (63" x 73 1/2") from the Nesting Dolls pattern. She so graciously kept track of every single print she used in her quilt. Those fabrics are...

It's quilts like these that completely change my opinion on purple. The dark purple compliments the other colors in the quilt top so well!
As always, my mom's piecing is perfection 💯👌🏻
Can't wait to see this one quilted!
And now moving on to Mandy's AKA @thedandypatch's amazing Nesting Dolls quilt!
Mandy made the baby size quilt (39 1/2" x 56") from the Nesting Dolls pattern. The front of her quilt uses prints from Ruby Star Society's Heirloom collection by Alexia Abegg and her backing is from Alexia Abegg's Alma collection.
I am such a fan of the panto Mandy chose for her quilt! Her quilt was longarmed by @quiltingbydavid in the Teeter Totter panto.
And here's the full shot of Mandy's quilt! It could not be any cuter 😍
In case you missed it, I have a blog post HEREsharing the Nesting Dolls expansion pattern! If you're feeling overwhelmed by the piecing or feel like this quilt is above your skill level, then you'll definitely want to check out that blog post!
